The Ashford Osteopathic Clinic was officially opened on the 26th September 1994, by Sir Keith Speed (Former MP), Councillor Loughton, and Mr John Wernham (Former Principal Maidstone College of Osteopathy).

Zara is a classically trained Osteopath, taught by Mr John Wernham, and graduated from the Maidstone College of Osteopathy in 1992.
Zara is registered with the General Osteopathic Council. Apart from general practice, Zara’s area of special interest is a gentle form of treatment that adjusts the body to function in a co-ordinated unit.
John has attained a Masters Degree in Osteopathy, and was awarded ‘Clinical Student of the Year’ during his graduation. Alongside general osteopathic practice he also specialises in sports injuries, strains, sprains and rehabilitation.
John is also qualified in Sports Massage Therapy and in using dry needling/western acupuncture techniques, broadening the treatment options available at Ashford Osteopathic Clinic.
John is a keen sportsman himself, interested in a wide variety of sports and represented Great Britain playing American Football up until the age of 18, then competing in Thai Boxing/Muay Thai until his mid-twenties.
